I voted SUSE, because I think it's the only thing that supports XGL (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n-6oEcAZ80).

But I think, it only works on ATI video cards at the moment. Anyway, not sure.

A small question. Have you used anything else, or only Red Hat? Red Hat is the most popular among us, Sri Lankans, but I suggest that you try others too and come tp a conclusion. I haven't used them extensively, so I can't recommend anything. Maybe if you try out several others, you might ditch Red Hat and choose another.

I have a friend who got Knoppix installed on his PC. I didn't ask how or why, because I didn't care.

I love ubuntu coz i heard that it can b custmized up very far.But i love linspire too as i'm a beginner.Coz its lot like windows.Too it have an warehouse that almost all the programs r there.Even theres a plugin like something that you can even install MS office in Linspire.

Aken install karanne nehe.Knoppix files tika HDD ekata copy karanawaa witharai.Aayi cd eken boot karanakota files tika HDD eken load karanna puluwanne---HDD is faster than CD Rom-----:lol:

AFAIK, only the games that use opengl can work in Linux. This is less than half when you consider the big titles for Windows. No thanks...
