Originally developed by Robert Kooima on the PC, the game plays partly like an intense hybrid of an action and puzzle game. It basically puts you in control of a ball as you try and navigate it through the various levels, making sure you don't fall off some of the steeper areas.
The iPhone counterpart is quite faithful to its PC version, making use of its touchscreen capabilities to control the ball. The developer mentioned that a couple of graphical flaws which bog down the game's speed. Also, a few levels were removed from this first release, giving Neverball a total of 63 levels instead of its usual 75.
