View Full Version : Who's got Vista x64 up and running?

Anyone here use Vista x64 final?

I wanna know about the RAM usage and if you have used the 32-bit edition, the differences (in performance) you felt. Please state the CPU and the amount of RAM isntalled on your system.

I will install it as soon as I get a router. My ADSL modem don't have drivers/will not have drivers so I can't move to it.

I dont have 64bit vista. But i have 64 bit XP. Its very fast. But still there is no lots of softs for it. Thats why I dont use it. BUT I LOVE THAT 64bit platform.

Yeah, I also installed XP x64 once, just to try out. I couldn't get my modem working on it either. Crap!

Anyway, when I installed Vista x64, i saw that it had both 32-bit and 64-bit of windows' software in it, such as Windows Media Player, Calender etc. I don't know why it had both. And what's amazing is that, the shortcut on the startmenu pointed to the 32bit edition of WMP! wtf!!!!
