Sony has announced the release of Sony Vegas Movie Studio+DVD, an upgrade to its entry level video editing and DVD authoring applications. The big news here is the inclusion of DVD Architect Studio for authoring DVDs created with Sony Vegas Movie Studio. Within the scope of this review, we\'ll take a look at some of the new features to Vegas Movie Studio, plus a first look at DVD Architect Studio. The Sony Vegas Movie Studio interface has not changed from previous versions. It still retains the logical arrangement of your text, video overlay, Video, Voice, Music and Sound effects tracks to the left, of which the individual track windows can be minimized or maximized based on your workflow, or you can have just one of the tracks open if you want to concentrate on that track\'s particular asset. The timeline for these assets are to the right, the Media Pool, Transitions, and VideoFX, Text and Backdrops, Explorer, and Trimmer tabs are located at the bottom left of the interface, and the preview window is located conveniently to the bottom right of the interface.
