First of all download this wonderful program:

Then when u start the program goto settings goto cable modem or dsl whatever u have.

Go to MaxMTU and set it to 1500 this is optimal anything above this will not work as well....

It increases the speed, but 100-200kbps is too optimistic.

r u sure its gonna guve a boost upto 100-200Kbps? I mean the conn speed is already @ 524Kbps? :eek:

I think itl work only 4 hisg speed DSL and T1 connections

No it works for 512k, but not such a big boost. About 0-5kBps higher than before on average.

@ sridanu - it merely optimizes the connection dude... it ll help ya achieve the maximum bandwidth possible via 512 therefore not exceeding the 512 limits... wel.. this software z pretty useful for multiplayer gaming.. helps to reduce lag to a great extent..
