I'm using Alcohol 52%. It's free (which frees you from headaches of finding cracks etc.), now it's fully compatible with Vista, uses less resources (you don't need a process running on the background) and most importantly, you can mount images by right clicking on them (once you associate Alcohol with those extensions).

Alcohol 52% is not a trial, because it is free. Alcohol 120% is a trial unless you buy it.
You can download Alcohol 52% from : http://www.free-downloads.net/downloads/Alcohol_52__Free_Edition/

I use Alchohol 120% and Deamon tools. Some Games only support the game when its mounted on Deamon Tools.
But for creating images Alchohol 120% is superb. :)

I use UltraISO to create images. I always stick with the ISO image standard, because everything out there supports them.

Oic. So if you are using Nero just for emulation, maybe you should try Alcohol 52%

I would convert those "stubborn" image files to "iso" before I so anything. I like to keep them all in iso format.

And I like to keep only one program in each area. So, I would check the best app which will suit me, and only install it. Alcohol is that program for image mounting.

52% is free and 120% is not.
52% doesn't have image burning capabilities. 120% has.
52%'s is blue and 120% is red.
