If you feel a little inspired by the upcoming James Bond or Mission Impossible movies, then you might want to try out Kingston's new self-destructing flash drive.

No, the drive won't actually burst into flames or disintegrate (what a waste of geek gadgetry), but the data would be automatically cleared and cleaned after 25 unsuccessful access attempts to guess your password by brute force.

The 4GB flash drive encrypts all data with 128-bit AES, and then adds an extra layer of security: a self destruct feature. If anyone tries to use a brute-force attack to guess your password, the drive will automatically erase itself after 25 wrong guesses.

I don't think this is intended for the normal consumers.

This is a very safe way to store your secret data. we can set a password for it. if anyone tries to see the data they have to enter correct password. if they tried to unlock it using unlock software (brute-force attacks) it will clears its data itself.

Unmanaged portable USB Flash drives pose a serious security threat. Don’t compromise corporate data. Trust it to the drive that offers advanced security and outstanding performance–Kingston’s DataTraveler® Elite–Privacy Edition (DTEP). This ultra-secure USB Flash drive protects data even if the drive is lost or stolen. 100 percent of the stored data is protected by 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) hardware-based encryption and a complex password.
