I dont think so.I bought my casing for 2500 LKR without the power supply from Mitech Ltd,lower ground floor,Unity Plaza.U can buy another one around unity for 8000 LKR which has dials like speedometers.but that have fever info than mine.too it had red LEDs.Like an ambulance.My one have 3 heat sensors,Fan monitor,power monitor,overall heat monitor and time.heat sensors are to attach to ur CPU,HDD and GPU/VGA.It is very good in alerting in many ways.If cpu fan is lower than 500 rpm,beeps for 20 secs,then powerdown!!low power too.[monitors 12v only]

I'm used to it.Besides i only sleep 4~6 hours per day.I cant sleep more.

If I could get rid of my PATA HDD and swap the IDE data cable with a rounded-cable, then mine will be very clean. It's got heaps of space inside. :yes: :yes:

U know the only time it was disaled?When i stress test my PC. It ran 105 hours(approx 5 days i ran it) continuously ,with me playing games,Video rendering,Doing photoshop,Premiere,burning cds,DVDs,downloading all the stuff.It passed the test without burn marks.:cool:CPU reported 54 C max on front panel and 56 C in software.GPU 50 & 56(I cant connect the heat censor on gpu coz its covered with heat sink)HDD reported 33 c max in front panel.

Thats the most favourite sound card of mine.For sound I use only Creative.Did you know that it has hardware video capture capability?It has a good function to make captured videos'quality better.Its good to buy that creative Xi-Fi platinum than some Snazzi..

try this tip.... but i didnt tested this yet... this is another way to bypass network security when downloading torrents... get Azureus and in the Transfer settings click the tick box that says use Encrypted TCP packets (both in and out) this will bypass the networks security. Also change the Port used from 6881 to something like 9000 or just generally something very high.

The speakers cost me about Rs.4,000 in 2003 May. I don't think you can find them anymore.

Who has a massive casing fan? It's just a normal 80mm 12V fan, but it's not thin as most others. And, I only run it at 7V to lower the noise.

I don't have a fan on the size. Instead, I have a duct extending all the way up to the CPU fan. So cool air is what the CPU fan pushed on th the heatsink - rather than the warm air which is trapped inside the case. Efficient cooling IMO.

HDD molex power connector has 12V-0V-0V-5V (yellow-black-black-red) wires no? Normally the fan is given power by 12V (yellow) and 0V (black). I interchanged that black wire with the red wire (12V-5V=7V). You can also run it at 5V, but the CFM rating will drop a lot.

If the hard disk is running hot, maybe yeah. But it's much better if you could mount an air-intake fan right in front of the hard disk, because then it will bring cool air in. Much efficient than when you install the fan under the hard disk.

I've stopped using CD pouches because they scratch the discs when putting in and taking out. I use the empty DVD spindles that the DVDR discs come in, to store DVDs that contain rarely accessed data such as movie.

Thsoe software can make bootable DVDs. Restore in a few seconds? Now way! It depends on how large the image is and how fast your DVD drive can read the DVD (as well as the CPU's speed as the image is compressed).

I've stopped using CD pouches because they scratch the discs when putting in and taking out. I use the empty DVD spindles that the DVDR discs come in, to store DVDs that contain rarely accessed data such as movie.

What do you mean by serial PCI card? You mean SATA PCI card?

Machan one of my friend bought this sound card yester day. It cost 35,000/= rupees.

i got this with my new pc, returned and brought a Genius. After that only saw a logitech multimedia one @ a shop for 800/=, I like multimedia ones, coz they've big keys for Enter, backspace and all, useful when typin a lot!

I have something like that with me, called CD-Room. Anyway, it's all manual. You have to move a slider to the correct index number and when you open it, the relevant disc will be attached to the top of it. It's a bit hrd to explain it. Best thing is that the disc don't touch each other. s

Yeah, with Logitec keyboards especially, I don't have to worry about how long usage of it will affect my fingers/hands. They are simply superb.

However, I don't really have a need for a multimedia keyboard. I had one before, but that keyboard was very bad at my fingers/hands. I practically had to punch its keys. And I didn't even use those multimedia keyboards. So I bought this cheap, but nice keyboard for Rs.600 or a similar amount. Can't remember the exact figure though.

Haha. I'd keep mine the default way. Besides, I only put the frequently accessed DVDs in it. I store all the other DVDs in DVD Splindles.

I dont think anusha will go 4 that.Once i dreamt about one.U only have to press the number of the CD/DVD and it comes out.It can hold 125 cds.it was about 6000 Rs.A spindle is free for me.If u buy spindles of CDs then u get one free.But with some CDs..

I think they got it frm Stacking,and diff name means attraction..
but ppl would rather buy something else than that,even it wants some more space than 2-3 spindles which can hold 300 CDS..
