I'm on level 4 for German but I already had a pretty good background in German so it wasn't very hard. It wasn't until I tried the Russian and Irish that I saw how difficult it could be. I kind of got t.rosettastone language

think what makes the Spanish so much easier is the alphabet is the same! I am getting better at the baby basics in Thai the hardest part is the male/female qualifiers. For example in Spanish a female ends in the letter A and a man ends in the letter O, I can see this and it registers in my brain. They don't have the characters on this keyboard for Thai The other problem I have is I am a very good test taker, however that doesn't mean I know squat, it just means that I can figure out what they are looking for. So I can score well but still don't feel like I am learning enough. I do know this and do repeat the lessons. Thanks for the encouragement, I am going to keep at it because I do feel like I am learning, but I was amazed at how quickly I picked up spanish after working on thai for a week. Thanks again!
