In the Gucci spring and summer 2011 collection from Milan Fashion Week last September, the Fashionistas were given an amazing ix of art deco and classic styles. The overall vibe of the show was upbeat and Gucci showed a glimpse of the more structured and detailed sillouettes Milan was presenting for the spring season.
The color palette Gucci used for their Milan Fashion Week show included a mix of neutrals, jewel tones and rock & roll black. Although Gucci's clothing was mostly art deco meets modern country club classics; the Gucci Bags collection was structured, luxurious and slightly influenced by the 1970's trend that began in the fall and has continued into resort and spring of 2011.
The large tote bags that Gucci showed on their Milan Fashion Week runway were luxurious enough to create a “must” to carry the bags daily. These tote bags were shown in exotic skins and soft leather with two top handles and a Birkin-style horizontal strap and lock closure. Gucci paired the soft leather collection with classic skinny pants and neutral colors; featured woven leather details, which made a structured and dressy casual look.

These bags could easily fit purse essentials plus a few extra items. The shoulder straps are long, which allow the bag hit in the middle of the hip bone. The colors were light tan and dark brown.
