This story is not to undermine your informative/ serious post. But I could not restrain myself without posting this.
Sometime in 1990 s an expat sri Lankan man living in Melbourne, had a stroke. He is living with his wife, both in their late fifties/early sixties, and a uni student from sri lanka (who is from Galle) also live with them. He was perfectly healthy, and host some friends for dinner , and after they left he had this stroke and completely paralysed and could not speak too. Then his wife, disorientated with this incident and told that boy, "PUTHAA ANKALTA KATHAA KARANNA BAHANE" His reply was "EHENAM KOLEKUYI PAANAKUYI DENNA ETHAKOTA LIYALAA DEYI."
Fortunately he still alive, thanks to quick responding ambulance, and good medical care.
Its famous story bro. I have heard it before and believed that it was myth.
