I get to know some muslim ppl have a ritual that women should stay in a closed room for month or etc.. if her husband passes away.
So in that time husband's relations and other ppl might take over his business and earnings while wife will get nothing after she come back from the room.
I know few rich ppl now going to jobs after their husband's death coz they have nothing left. So its a very sad situation.
Anyway all the races and religions has their rituals. Its up to you and me to think logically and follow them.
