Qur'an 16:79


"Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) God. Verily in this are signs for those who believe. (The Noble Quran, 16:79)", is not talking about a Scientific Miracle in the Noble Quran, because everyone during Prophet Muhammad's, peace be upon him, time knew that birds fly, and they were special-designed to fly. The Noble Verse was rather speaking about the Glory of GOD Almighty and how Miraculous it is indeed to have birds fly on their own.

The Arabic Word in Noble Verse 16:79 really means "dedicated" or "Designed it specifically for"; that GOD Almighty dedicated the birds for flying as a Sign for the Believers about the existence of GOD Almighty.
