U.S. Champion MVP to Raw

I'm a big MVP fan. He was in the doghouse and this is either going to be the moment where they elevate him to the next level or he becomes the next C.M. Punk style "we pushed him and he didn't connect" victim. He doesn't feel like a Raw wrestler to me for some reason, sort of like the long forgotten Kennedy. Also like, Kennedy, he's a natural heel character. But, I'd rather see them push him as a face then not push him at all. I think if the company gets behind MVP, he can go all the way. I feel that way about very few workers. He's served his time and seems at least ready to challenge for a world title.

Big Show to Raw

Does this really do anything? Has Big Show been relevant since the Floyd Mayweather program? Granted, he's a tough character to book, and it's hit or miss depending on how he is programmed. They force-fed him into the Wrestlemania title program and look how memorable that was. This, like a lot of these draft choices, seems uninteresting and will do nothing to change our great sport.

WWE Women's Champion Melina to Smackdown

This goes to show you how much I care about the women's division. I didn't even know which brand this girl was on. I think at one point Melina had the potential to be the top female wrestler in the business. Now that division, even with Gail Kim back, is such an afterthought that I have no idea what these girls are doing or if they have any personalities or programs that are interesting. Again, it's that age-old dilemma, if they get behind Melina, she could do some great things, if not, then whatever.
Matt Hardy to Raw

This is a very interesting choice. It also explains why the program with Jeff was blown off so quickly (though I'm not sure it's over yet). Matt, despite the new gear, which looks good, and the heel turn, still feels flat. He needs to take his game to the Edge/Jericho/Orton level and maybe getting him away from Jeff is the best way to do that. He also needs to hit the gym and stop posting all his myspace shit. A haircut would help. KAYFABE is key. If you recall, and some of you might not, Matt's ORIGINAL heel turn about 6 years ago (the VERSION: ONE character) was great, so we know he is capable of this. He just needs a program where he is a convincing BAD guy. I'm excited to see what he can do on Raw

WWE Champion Triple H to Raw

*sigh* So predictable. I'm actually a HHH supporter, but if we learned anything from Wrestlemania and this ongoing Orton program, it's that the character is stale. He's become the Jeff Jarrett of the WWE. He made zero difference on Smackdown and you could tell his heart just wasn't in it. If anything, they should have had him job the belt to Orton and then turn heel on his whole family, leading to a feud with HBK (or something like that). HHH desperately needs to go away for a bit, not because I don't like him, but because he needs to be a fresh character. Another idea: Wouldn't it be more interesting to have HHH as a "McMahon" screwing over the faces?

Money in the Bank winner C.M. Punk to Smackdown

Smart move. He was never going to get a proper shot on Raw, especially after that lackluster title reign. He seems to be one of those guys the company pushes only because he sells more merchandise than his push should normally allow. So the question is, in the hands of Michael Hayes and his writing team, does Punk go all the way ala Jeff Hardy or is he the next MVP/Kennedy type who always flirts with the upper midcard but never quite gets there?
The Miz to Raw

As discussed in a previous column, it was time to break up Miz and Morrison. I'll miss the DIRT SHEET, but it's time. Frankly, unless there is some kind of creative miracle, I see The Miz becoming the new Brian Kendrick, but with a lot less upside. His performance the other night in the ring didn't do him any favors and I think not being in a tag team is going to expose him as being much more green than anyone realizes. I expect we'll initially see him in a feud with like an MVP and then kinda fall by the wayside.

Kane to Smackdown

Unnecessary. This is just like Big Show. Before he was drafted, I couldn't even tell you what brand he was on. I thought he was on ECW. Kane is a solid hand, but unless he has a total reinvention, like The Undertaker, he's way past his peak. But that's a one in a million shot. Now would be the time to get the mask back on him or put him in a tag with the Taker for PPV's etc. Kane's sole function right now should be to get younger talent over.

Chris Jericho to Smackdown

Easily the most significant draft move and the most telling. The reason I say this is I believe that by moving Y2J to SD, someone on Raw is going heel (Batista?). However, when you really look at it, Jericho has done everything he can do on Raw. He has done a program with all of the top players, been the champ a few times when no one ever expected him to, and he is amazing at getting people over without hurting his own character. He's probably the smartest man in the sport right now and future feuds with the Mysterio's and Jeff Hardy's of the world are very promising. There are more titles in Jericho's future. Probably the most logical move they made in this entire draft.

Vladimir Kozlov to ECW

This says it all. The Kozlov experiment is over. He has everything it takes to be a decent mid-level star, but he's too green and was called up too soon. He's already been through all the top stars in the company. He either goes to ECW and improves or he forever languishes until he ends up in TNA.

WWE Divas' Champion Maryse to Raw

I don't even know who this girl is. How am I supposed to get excited that they switched the womens champions when they have buried the division so much. They're going to put this girl, who's English is not so great, on live TV? Really?

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio to Smackdown

This was the smartest move of the main draft. Rey shouldn't have been on Raw in the first place. They really didn't take advantage of it while he was there, so let him go back to Smackdown where he was over, became champ, etc. Also, SD has a huge latino audience that needs to be addressed. But it's time to get Rey back into the main even mix. His promo work still isn't the strongest, but at this point, why hold him back because of that? He's over with the kids, still puts on great matches and deserves another title run. I think the natural progression to that is a program with Jericho. In my next column, I will cover the Supplemental Draft, which I feel was a much more interesting draft than the one above. Stay tuned.

I havent watched RAW, SD, ECW in weeks and the last WWE match I watched was HBK Vs. Undertaker.
Is that good or bad ?

Mr. Kennedy from SmackDown to RAW

There's no one on the WWE roster I want to see go to the top more than this guy. He needs to go heel ASAP. The question is, can he stay injury free? Also, Kennedy just seems like a Smackdown guy. I want to see him succeed, maybe this will do it, but somehow I feel like it's going to be an uphill battle for him.

Cryme Tyme from RAW to SmackDown

At first breaking up Cryme Tyme seems like a silly thing, as they are a good tag team and improving. Well this is an excuse to get them both on Smackdown, which is a positive from my perspective. I like these guys a lot so I am glad they are keeping them together.

Alicia Fox from ECW to SmackDown

A potentially smart decision. She was great in the "wedding planner" role but terrible with the dancing gimmick. Not sure if she can wrestle yet, she seems pretty green. However, she could be a good valet for Edge. Can she talk? Time will tell.

The Colons from SmackDown to RAW

Breaking up the tag champs would have been silly. I think in future drafts, tag teams should be considered one pick? I'm not sure who the competition is for the tag champs, and hopefully they will bounce back and forth between shows. I'm a tag team mark. The Colons are good, so let's see them get some time to do their thing on the flagship show.

Mike Knox from RAW to SmackDown

Smart move. He's a good midcard heel who has been through everyone on Raw. I feel like Michael Hayes will know how to book him strong in that position.

Ezekiel Jackson from SmackDown to ECW

This would have been a great decision if they moved Kendrick with him. Jackson has potential, but he should have stayed in the bodyguard/partner role. That act still hadn't gotten stale yet and I think there was a ways to go with it. They could have had a good tag title run at least. Kendrick should have gone to ECW as well. They already drafted Koslov to ECW, why do they need another big guy like this?

Nikki and Brie Bella from SmackDown/ECW to RAW

Again like Cryme Tyme and the Colon's splitting the sisters seemed stupid, but they were just trying to get the duo onto Raw. Will they continue to be aligned with The Colons? They need to let these girls do some more, as they showed some signs of charisma during the Colons/Miz/Morrison Feud.

Candice Michelle from RAW to SmackDown

I'm not sure why this diva is even on the roster still. She is more injury prone than Kennedy and has zero charisma. Look, she has tried in the ring, she's definitely improved, but where is the upside?

Zack Ryder from SmackDown to ECW

I think any decision to put unproven talent on ECW is a smart idea. It worked for Punk, it's working for Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd, so I'm hoping this move allows Ryder to establish his own identity. He has what it takes. But what about his tag partner?

Chavo Guerrero from ECW to RAW

An obvious decision, given his aunt is on RAW now. Chavo is a great hand and will always be a strong midcard performer. I wish they would book him a little stronger and less comedic so at least I would think he would have a chance of winning some of these matches he's put in.

Ricky Ortiz from ECW to SmackDown

I'm very iffy on this guy. There's something about him I don't like, which could make him a good heel. Is the towel gimmick supposed to be cool? The jury is out on him. I didn't think too much of him on ECW, so I can't imagine he's going to make a big splash on Smackdown. We'll see.

Layla El from RAW to SmackDown

Another girl with potential to shine in the manager/valet role as she started to do with Regal. Can she wrestle? I don't know. I find her likeable in that she's not the typical tall blonde diva and could be a nice heel. She has something, but it's going to be up to the writing team to take advantage of that.

Hornswoggle from ECW to RAW

Why?

DH Smith from RAW to ECW

Another smart decision. It would be a mistake to call him up to Legacy for now. I hear his game has improved quite a bit, so there is some big upside to him. Perhaps a tag team with his childhood best friend Tyson Kidd (who is managed by his cousin Natalya), could be an interesting way to go. ECW didn't get many draft picks, but they were solid ones that will improve the show.

John Morrison from ECW to SmackDown

Probably my brother Chester's favorite draft decision. They could have kept him on ECW but wisely moved him to SD. He can REALLY go to the next level. If there is one wrestler in this entire company Vince should get behind, it's this guy. He has it. It's time. If they put the belt on Punk, they should give Morrison a year long title run. He is everything a heel WWE champion should be. He has Edge potential. I am excited about this.

Natalya from SmackDown to ECW

Totally logical as she is a good foil for Tyson Kidd. They're a good team and if they add D.H. Smith to the crew, the new Hart Foundation could be awesome. She's got a of potential as a mouthpiece and she can go in the ring.

Festus from SmackDown to RAW

This will be a good move provided he is repackaged into something that benefits his talent. He's got talent, they just need to really let him not be Eugene part 2.

Dolph Ziggler from RAW to SmackDown

Not sure about this guy yet. He shows signs of potential. Or he could be Billy Gunn. We shall see.

The Brian Kendrick from SmackDown to RAW

Big mistake. I just feel like he's going to get buried. This is a guy with great long term midcard potential, certainly there should be an US or IC Title run in his future, but splitting him with Jackson and putting him on RAW seems to be a big step backwards. Hope I'm wrong.

Charlie Haas from RAW to SmackDown

Not sure if this is a positive or negative either way. Talented guy, lacking charisma, but a solid hand. The impersonation gimmick is stale, it's time to let it go, so what do they do with him? Do they put him back with Shelton (who you know they will never fully push) as a tag team?

Hurricane Helms from SmackDown to ECW

This is probably the best place for this talented guy to shine. As much as I like him, I think they will always keep him at a certain level. ECW is the big winner in the draft if you?re a true wrestling fan.

when i was doing OLs i was addicted to WWE

i always used to think about wrestlers and their moves

hehe , but now im not so interest of WWE hehe..
