just because things are in a holy book it doesn't make that religion 'peaceful'. People following that religion have to act accordingly.

Buddha never advised people to occupy in violence . what he taught was Hatred can never be ended by hatred . And if you do bad karma LIKE I QUOTED FROM QURAN You will inevitably get WHAT YOU HAVE QUOTED in Return .Unlike quran Those are the Punishments which you get for mmmmm lets say pedophilia Etc

That's why buddha advised to practise compassion. Did that explain ?

Best answer i have seen so far. Doesnt really matter what the book says what matters is what the followers do by looking at how men behave in saudi arabi doesnt look like they are real muslims to me. :confused:

Kindly I requesting you Hereafter don’t post any Islamic treat to Elakiri this is not good place for Islam, if I, you, we, any of us don’t want see some one writing, saying bad about our Prophet (S.A)
its better we silent, should not argue with them.
There are better understanding people also there but I was very upset, no one advising them to don’t do it, they are purposely attacking Islam & Muslim,

We should want to learn other religion and we should respect their faith but here they don’t want hear but from the beginning they are attacking it.

And other reason is some of our brothers with out knowledge going to argue with them also talking to them bad way as same way there are doing to us, this is not Islam.

If this will continued like this it will bad for our beautiful country.

This is my advice to our brothers, if you thinking I’m wrong in any place, please write & correct me.

Dear brother, This is not something new, this message have already been passed many times. we are aware that we should not abuse another religions, also Quran never allowed this.as far as i know most of the muslims here never abuse other religions for any reason. of course when we do thawah we are bound to get abuses from non muslim, obviously this is nature. what we have been doing is , we try to convince others as long as we can tolerate their ill treatment.only when we feel it is exceeding the limit, and expect to lead to more abuse,we give up responding to such comments. this has nothing to do with national unity as srilankans. it is responsibility on all of us to pass the truth to everyone, bit of ill treatment should not be obstacles for our thawah, as u know when Mohammed SAW passed the Message to Non muslim, even he had to face lot of problems and he was very much ill treated by non believers, he never stopped spreading his message for any reason.had he stopped spreading msg that time, Islam will not exist by now..hope u understand...
