What's the largest capacity hard drive you've seen in Sri Lanka?

I haven't seen it, but I was told by a sales representative at PC House that they had the 500GB Hitachi 7K500 drive for Rs.37,000!!!!

Because they were at the stores and I wasn't gonna spend that much on a hard drive when you could buy almost 1TB space with three 320GB drives for the same cost.

Tricky fella ya buying 320GB into 3 is better. And the reply to ur answer is I havent heard of 500GB Hard Disk..................

Western Digital Raptor HDDs have 500GB.Check their site .U might find it.But it is 10000 rpm i think with 16MB cache.

How much is it now?
250 GB Hitachi SATAII-8MB-7200RPM is 9250rs with 2 yrs @ Mitech.

I don't think it was 32k. Still that drive is over US$350 in most shops in USA.

Wrong! The maximum size of a Raptor is 150GB. (model: WD1500ADFD)

You mean 320GB vs. 500GB? Because there aren't any 350GB discs in existence.
