The LTTE is the main obstacle in bringing freedom to the Tamil community, Minister of Media Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said.

Defeating terrorism is the first step of brining freedom to the Tamil community, he observed, adding that the present Government has taken a bold step in this regard under the guidance of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
