Some people say that Vista will not retail for the price Microsoft says. They are asking US$399 for Vista Ultimate Edition.

Windows XP Professional Edition was US$299 as well, but you could never find it for that price. It was hell a lot of cheaper than that. XP Home Edition was US$199, but it was actually about US$99 since a long time. I think the XP Professional Edition is about US$129 (but not sure about that exact value).

Yeah, I was not speaking with 100% confidence about the pricing. We'll just have to wait and see.

BTW, does anyone know who the Microsoft agents are in Sri Lanka? I mean, if someone wants to buy a retail copy of Vista, who should he/she contact?
