Coverage Where can I use M3 High Speed Internet? The M3 High Speed Internet service is available in Colombo Metropolitan area and almost all major towns across the country. The coverage expansion is steadily underway. How can I know whether I am in 3.5G Coverage? If you are using a mobile phone, a special icon located next to the signal strength bars will indicate when the phone is within 3.5G coverage. If you use a Laptop or a Desktop computer, the application software will indicate whether the device is within 3.5G coverage. The indication may vary from device to device, but will generally carry the letters 3G or HSDPA. In addition, an LED indicator on the device will flash in different colours (the flashing colour may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer) depending on the state of the connection, HSDPA, EDGE/GPRS. Generally a blinking LED signifies that the device has detected the network but on standby while a continuously shining LED indicates an active connection. What happens when I move out of 3.5G Coverage?
