Hey guys,

I got an email recently which I only opend now with a link to a certain website thats supposd to be run by Ministry of Defence, Public Security, Law & Order, Sri Lanka.

Site is http://www.citizens.lk

The problem is that theres no logo, no links, no contact nos nothin on the site where it asks ppl to Register... weird an intrstin..

check it out ko.. tell me wat ur ideas are here..

i definitely dnt hope its a fake.. but i didnt enter any TRUE info anyhows.. so i advise u to do the same..

ya it's true mchn...!!!! it was announced officially to get registered in www.citizens.lk in ITN news yesterday night...!!!!

it is for the national security...!!!! so don't hesitate to do so...!!!

but the problem why is d@ the site contain lot of bugs...!!!!

hmm.. ehemada.. ithin bro ei wena site ekakata wath link ekak neththe??? www.gov.lk eketh dala nehe ohoma site ekak... wena kohewath link karalath nehe.. an yah site eke melowa logo ekak wath nehe, an spellin mistake ekak thiyenawa.. seka sahithai nehda macho...????

And it is hard to create a fake country level domain.

Creating a .LK is not the same as creating a .COM domain. Most of the time, I would say more than 90%, country level domains are legitimate. Because they are administered by a authority within the country and it has a particular process to follow.
