The Sri Lankan President has invited the Pakistani driver of the Sri Lankan bus and his wife on a state visit to Sri Lanka.
The invitation has been extended on behalf of the President by the Sri Lankan High Commissioner.
The driver, Mehr Khalil, had risked his life and saved the lives of Lanka's top cricketers when he drove through the ambush of terrorists during the attack in Lahore on March 3. He then took them to safety inside the Gaddafi stadium.
Apart from the state visit, Sri Lanka has also offered Khalil employment in Sri Lanka.
