im usin a liteon and i burned arnd 500 DVDs still no prob... its da best for me :yes:

That's not the best writer, but they are very good.
Anyway, choose a newer model from any of these brands. The list is sorted in my decreasing preference order...

Stay away from Creative, Asus, Samsung etc. because they don't make any DVD Writers. Their writers are rebadged drives from companied in the previous list, except the Sony. Sony = Benq
