Software Engineer කෙනෙක් වෙන්නේ කොහොමද? - How to become a Software Engineer
1) පරිගණක විද්යාවට අදාල කුමන හෝ උපාධියක් කරන්න. හැකි උපරිම ප්රථිපල ගන්න.
2) ඔබ කැමති field (Java/.NET/PHP)එක තොර ගන්න
3) ඔබ තෝරා ගත් field එකට අදාල දැනුම ලබා ගන්න. අවශ්ය නම් training courses කරන්න. (බොරු කාරයන්ට නොරැවටෙන්න). ඔබට අවශ්ය ඕනෑම දැනුමක් දැන් නොමිලේ ebooks මඟින් ලබා ගත හැක. Search Google.
4) ඔබ ඉගෙන ගත දැනුම ප්රයෝගිකව යොදවන්න. ebooks wala හැම exercise ekakma run කරන්න.
5) OpenSource projects checkout කර එම projects හොදින් අධ්යනය කරන්න.
6) ඔබත් එවැනි projects හැකි නම් කරන්න(try karanna)
8) ඔබේ බ්ලොග්(Technical) එකක් පටන් ගන්න. ඔබ අලුතින් ඉගෙන ගන්න දේ blog එකේ පොස්ට් කරන්න.
7) දැන් ඔබ පිළිගත් ආයතනයක trainee or associate SE interview යාමට සුදුසුයි.
As you know we have a huge contest to get selected to your first Job. Having done a degree in CS or Engineering is not enough. You have to become a master in the field. It took me 1.5 years to find a job finally I started my carrier as a trainee SE from 17500LKR per month. I went more than 10 interviews to get it. What they all said was "you have good knowledge but you have no experience". (මොකෙක් හරි ගන්න ඕනනේ බන් ඉතින් experience තියෙන්න නම්).Within past 3 years I was able to become a SSE and now I am paid around 140K(Dont ask the company plz, there are few good companies pay high salaries in Sri Lanka but all depends on your capabilities and dedication.)
Java Software Engineer කෙනෙක් වෙන්න මොනවද ඔයාල කරන්න ඕන, මොනවද ඉගෙන ගන්න ඕන කියල මම ඉස්සරහට කියල දෙන්නම්
මමත් උඹල වගේම හොඳට ආතල් ගත්ත. 3 පාරක් A/L කරපු එකෙක්. යන්තන් 3 වෙනි සැරේ campus select වුනා. එකෙත් 1 st year ekama fail. කොහොම හරි degree එක ගොඩ දා ගත්තා. ඒ නිසා උඹලටත් බැරි වෙන් නැ. Island first/ second la ගේ පොර talks උඹලට වැඩක් නෑ. උන් පුක ඉරාගෙන වැඩ කරලා අන්තිමට කියන්නේ bola ගැහුවා cartoon බැලුව pass වුනා 1 වුනා කියල. ඒ නිසා උඹලාටත් ඕන නම් Software Engineer කෙනෙක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
