Army knows where Prabha is- Army Chief

Army Chief Lt Gen Sarath Fonseka has told the BBC that troops knew the "general area" where LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran was hiding and that "action will be taken to destroy him".
Prabhakaran was hiding near the coast, Lt Gen Fonseka said.
The general said only 300-400 Tamil Tiger fighters remained, but there may be 700 "forcibly armed" people in rebel bunkers.
The government has said that a pause in fighting is not necessary because additional consignments of food, medicine and other essentials have been dispatched to the war zone.
It says that the rebels are a "spent force" confined to an area no bigger than 12 sq km (five square miles).

How to Avoid Breast Cancer - What To Do In Your 20s, 30s, and 40s

We are very pleased to post this list of actions every woman can take at different stages of her life to try to reduce her risk of breast cancer to a minimum. Robert Griffith, Editor.

Introduction

Breast cancer touches millions of lives. It is expected that 211,200 women and 1,720 men in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 41,000 people will die from breast cancer in 2006 alone. But, one by one, we can make a difference!

One thing you can do is take care of your own health. The Komen Foundation firmly believes that an individual is her own best health care advocate, and recommends that women and men become familiar with their own bodies by age 20. Here are a number of other steps you should be taking at different stages in your life in order to reduce your risk of breast cancer as far as possible.

In your 20s:

* Perform regular monthly breast self-examinations by age 20.
* Begin having clinical breast exams every three years beginning in your 20s.
* Begin familiarizing yourself with your family history and pay special attention to added risk factors for developing breast cancer, such as family members with breast cancer or obesity.
* Monitor your alcohol intake -- numerous studies have shown that high levels of alcohol intake probably increase the risk of breast cancer. If you drink alcohol, drink in moderation -- less than one drink a day.

In your 30s:

* Continue regular breast self-exams.
* Eat healthy -- for overall wellness and possibly to decrease the risk for developing breast cancer, it is recommended that women consume a well-balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
* Begin an exercise regimen -- physical activity may help lower your risk from breast cancer. Exercise reduces estrogen levels, fights obesity, lowers insulin levels and boosts the function of immune system cells that attack tumors.

In your 40s:

* Start getting clinical breast examination by a medical professional annually and continue regular monthly breast self-examinations.
* Know the impact of different factors on breast cancer risk and pay special attention to those that affect you. See the first link below for an excellent listing of your risk factors.
* Maintain your weight -- the effect of adult weight on the risk of breast cancer is different among pre- and post-menopausal women. Before menopause, it appears that being somewhat overweight decreases a woman's risk of getting breast cancer. After menopause, being overweight increases the risk of the disease.

Karunanidhi, TOILET Nadu’s Chief Minister has abandoned ‘Feisty’ Vaiko and backed the Tamil-Hating Indian Central government in charging him with Seditious acts.

Vaiko Gopalswamy is the general Secretary of the DMK – Donkey Party in TOILET Nadu and has on several occasions threatened India with Secession and insurrection of TOILET Nadu’s Smartest and Cleverest Dalit Rat Catchers if they failed to cave in to Legitimate demands to help save Hon. V. Pirapaharan and the LTTE Freedom Fighters who seem to be receiving a good Backside Smashing by the SL armed forces.
Though we are told that this situation of the SLA getting the upper hand is only temporary and that the multiple Tactical Withdrawals are all part of the Grand Plan of the LTTE to win Eelam, it has made a lot of the really smart Toilet Cleaning Eelam supporters in TOILET Nadu very nervous as it could almost be perceived that the LTTE might actually Loose the war…?

In Any case Vaiko assures us that the LTTE cannot be defeated and that TOILET Nadu would be engulfed in a Shit Storm of Communal anger if any harm was to come to Hon. V. Pirapaharan or any of his !00% Non-Terroristical Tamil Fighters who have done so much for the Tamil people.

Unfortunately, Karunanidhi who is a Politician Sell out who prefers the good life of Eternal rule over TOILET Nadu than to do anything meaningful for Tamils like support a Separate State in Sri Lanka has decided to make Mr. Vaiko his ‘Fall Guy’ by allowing the Central government to charge him with bogus crimes under their POBA (Prevention of Body Odor Act) laws. This despicable move is only to gain the sympathy of Tamil-Hating Indians as it is close to Elections in TOILET Nadu and Karunanidhi is shameless in his attempt to win again.
