    Colombo Harbor Southwest Breakwater Lighthouse​
    The Colombo Harbor Southwest Breakwater Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour.

    It lies at the end of the Southwestern Breakwater of the Colombo Harbour. This breakwater was completed in 1885 at cost of £705,000 using 300 convicts to load / unload rocks from a query at Mahara.

    The light house was made operational in 1903 and emits a green light occulting once every 5 seconds with a range of range 13 nautical miles. This lighthouse is managed by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.

    Access to this area is restricted and require permission of the ports authority.

    Colombo harbour south breakwater lighthouse​
    Colombo Harbor south breakwater Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour.

    This lighthouse was commissioned in 2013 with the opening of the south breakwater of the latest international terminal of the Colombo Port.

    Commenced construction in December 2011, the first pace of the Colombo South Container Terminal was ceremonially opened for traffic on 8th August 2013 making Colombo Port complex one of the biggest in the World.

    Total length of new Breakwater is 6830m. Berth Depth is 18m .

    Colombo Harbor Pilot Station Lighthouse​
    Colombo Harbor Pilot Station Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour and was completed along with the breakwater in 1885.

    This has a focal plane 17 m (56 ft) and is a 19 m (62 ft) round cylindrical tower topped by a dome, centred on a circular 2-story pilot station. The lighthouse has a green flash every 3 s.

    The building is painted white. There are living quarters for 4 duty pilots in it. It has being recently refurbished and equipped with Air Conditioning, a new galley and brand new living quarters.

    The top tower is now a VTS control center with some new Radar and Radio equipment installed Down at the lower level there is a resident steward/cook.

    Colombo Harbor Breakwater South End Lighthouse​
    The Colombo Harbor Breakwater South End Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour and was buit in 1905. This is a 12 m (36 ft) round stone tower with a lantern and gallery, painted white. This is an active lighthouse with a focal plane of 13 m (43 ft).

    It flashs red every 3 s. This lighthouse is located at the south end of the detached breakwater protecting Colombo Harbour, marking the north side of the western entrance.

    This lighthouse is accessible only by boat.

    Colombo Harbor Breakwater North End Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour.

    The lighthouse was commissioned in 1907 and is currently active. It has a focal plane of 13 m (43 ft) and flash green every 3 s.

    This is a 12 m (36 ft) round stone tower with lantern and gallery, painted in white.

    The light house is Located at the north end of the detached breakwater protecting Colombo Harbour, marking the south side of the northern entrance. Accessible only by boat.

    Colombo Harbor Breakwater Northeast Lighthouse​
    Colombo Harbor Breakwater Northeast Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses in the Colombo Harbour.

    The lighthouse was commissioned in 1907 and is currently active. It has a focal plane of 13 m (43 ft) and has a continuous red light. This is a 10 m (33 ft) round concrete tower with lantern and gallery. The breakwater has been replaced by a broad quay. It is located at the end of the northeast breakwater, marking the north side of the northern entrance.
