දාවිත් නැමැති වයස අවු. 15 ක් වූ එඩේර කොලුවා ගොලියත් නැමැති යෝධයා කැටපෝලයකින් විද මරා දමන ලද්දේ ක්රි.පූ.1025 දීය. එනම් මීට වසර 3043 ඉහතදීය. මෙම යෝධයාගේ ඇට සැකිල්ල යුදා කඳුකරයේ ඒලා මිටියාවතේ තිබී ජර්මානු පුරාවිද්යාඥයන් විසින් කරනලද කැණීම් වලදී සොයාගෙන ඇත. එහි විශේෂත්වය වනුයේ දාවිත් විසින් විදින ලද ගල හිස් කබලේ නළල් ප්රදේශයේ ගිලී තිබූ අයුරින්ම දක්නට ලැබීමයි.
මේකී සිදුවීම බයිබලයේ මෙලෙස සඳහන්ව ඇත.
* මේකී පුරාවිද්යාත්මක සත්යය ශුද්ධවූ බයිබලය හෙවත් දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ වචනය සත්ය බවට සනාථ කරන්නාවූ එක් නිදසුනකි.
"අද දවසේ ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේ තා මා අතට පාවාදෙනසේක; මම තට ගසා, තාගේ හිස කපාදමා, පිලිස්තිවරුන්ගේ සේනාවේ මළකඳන් අද දවසේ ආකාශයේ පක්ෂීන්ටද පොළොවේ වන මෘගයන්ටද දෙන්නෙමි; මෙසේ ඉශ්රායෙල් කෙරෙහි දෙවිකෙනෙක් ඉන්න බව පොළොවේ සියල්ලන්ම දැනගන්නවා ඇත....
තවද පිලිස්තියයා නැගිට දාවිත්ට විරුද්ධව ළංවෙද්දී දාවිත් ඉක්මන්කොට පිලිස්තියයාට විරුද්ධව සේනාව දෙසට දුවගොස්, මල්ලේ අතදමා එයින් ගලක් අරන්, ඒක ගල්පටියෙන් විද්දේය; ඒ ගල පිලිස්තියයාගේ නළලට වැදී ඔහුගේ නළලේ ගිලී ඔහු මුහුණින් බිම වැටුණේය." - (1 සාමුවෙල් 17:46-49)
HISTORY PROVES THE BIBLICAL FACTS OF DAVID BATTLE WITH GOLIATH OCCURRED IN 1025 BC. THEN DAVID WAS A 15 YEARS OLD YOUNG SHEPHERD. GOLIATH WAS A WARRIOR. THIS YOUNG LAD DEFEATED THAT GIANT BY HIS SLING. GOLIATH SKELETON WAS FOUND IN JUDEAN HILLS WITH THE STONE SUNK IN IT'S FOREHEAD CAME FROM DAVID'S SLINGSHOT.
THIS INCIDENT WHICH HAPPENED 3043 YEARS AGO AND DESCRIBED IN THE BIBLE.
DAVID SAYS: "This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel."
And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
