I don't think it's gay, because he falls in love with a girl, so bisexual maybe. I can understand for not liking it, it can be too much depressing and melodramatic. I think I enjoyed it because me myself was in a sad phase at that time, I might not even watch that now.

Damn superb piece of cinema.
My Ratings 8.0

Brits made awesome legends like Robin Hood , Sherlock Holmes and,
Damn ! they made superb remakes of them maintaining the good quality where Hollywood got fished up big time and they cant even make a decent comedy like this one even now.
Not to mention their recent attempt to remake Brit stories like Game of Shadows are nothing but a huge disaster. And keep making expensive jokes like The Expendables

This is the first time I ranked this high for a comedy. They havent wasted a freaking second through the film.

Brits practically showed the middle finger to Hollywood with this one !
