I'm usin ma external sound card now

i hav a on.sound card also how can i install the on.board sounds without the mother board CD :confused:

Remove ur sound card n Update ur XP with the bootable CD...

reffer to the mothr board manual... thn thr's no way for u to go wrong...

Go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and check for drivers. Sound drivers should be there. If they are not there, the brand of your motherboard is utter crap

But the motherboard manufaturer's website might not have the latest audio drivers. You can check for newer drivers from the original APU manufacturers (such as Creative, Realtek etc.) This is not really necessary though.
