I installed Ubuntu 7.04 in VMWare 6 RC2. Is there a way for to get Beryl working? Even the effects that come with Ubuntu don't seem to work. When I apply them, it logs me off and I have to log in back, but with no difference to before. The effects are not there. I installed Beryl as well, but it gives the same problem. :(
Any help?

Linux charter! Everything's sooooo unprofessional looking.
I only want to see Beryl - hands on experience

I could have tested it in my dad's PC, but that PC's going through the annual sick period :frown:
My large HDD? I'm thinking about buying another LOL. Not for Linux though.
