As far as reputations go, ESET's NOD32 is practically unimpeachable. Version 4 of the popular and effective antivirus and antispyware builds on that rep, emphasizing its community-sourced ThreatSense for preventing attacks before they occur, a slick interface, and some of the highest independently-tested detection rates married to low rates of false positives.

Installation is clean and straightforward. McAfee VirusScan Plus 2008's interface strives to be novice-friendly, with cute green check marks and red crosses. Unfortunately, while the interface is novice-friendly, the program is not. By including everything and the kitchen sink, McAfee VirusScan Plus 2008 feels bloated and it used more memory than we would have liked. Help is convoluted, and there's a chasm between the novice and expert user. We simply found McAfee too complex for novice users and not as advanced-user-friendly as similar suites.

HOW TO INSTALL

Extract the files using the password given below;
There you will find 2 files; and .exe and a .txt file.

Double-click the .exe file and (if activated in your Windows) allow as Administrator.

Accept.

Select your type of installation. And press next.

Fill in the data, I used "Test" and "Testing".


Open the serial.txt file and copy a serial number.

Paste it in the installation progress and press next.

Tick "agree" and press next.
Select wether or not you want the toolbar. And press next.

Close down open applications (shown in the box) and press next.

Then it will install.
Then it will update.
Select what type of computer you're using. And press next.

Select what kind of connection you're using. And press next.

Tick "agree" and press finish.

Restart your system when asked.
And there it is..
