The ever popular public torrent site for many has finally come to its end..

Its OFFICIAL!

The site had lost a court case which had made them to shutdown the site or face a penalty of $ 7 Million failing to comply.

This is a very sad day for the torrent community.

I dread for such a day... but it was just a matter of time... so will this be the uprising in shutting down the "torrent world"!!

wrong.
mininova site is still up and running but they no longer have pirated torrents. They now have only legal torrents uploaded through their content distribution service.

well the content distribution wont matter for most plus 99% of the stuff you get there are pirated....so for the common user it implies as a "shutdown" more or less.
