Dear cultural minister,

You have banned an internationally renowned film
because you have not seen the breasts of women before
and got so excited seen them. (People like Muditha and
Ravi too have never seen women’s breasts so there is
no use talking to them.)

Now what do you tell about the language of a colleague
of you who sat with you in the parliament? Do you
tolerate his language?

If you ban films saying they depict women’s' breasts,
what should you do to this man? Shouldn't you hang
him?

is this about Handagama's Aksharaya? I also don't see why it's been banned..So showing 3rd grade films in 3rd rated cinema halls is all good I guess. This ain't the only film that is made for mature adults in SL yahh..so why did he make such a big fuss about it? retards..

as all of us know, a movie can be identify as things going on producer's brain. Once diz Handagama has created a movie call "May mage Sanda" he showed Bhudist monk rapeing a tamil girl and blah blah blah. In hes "Thani Thutuwen Piyabamanna" movie he showed hes wife's naked body to whole world. Now in diz movie he shows a mother having a bath with her 14 year son and, a father marrying hes own :confused:

daughter and also a Brothel house, which also sells Buddha Statues...I feel Mother Lanka has done some big demerit to give a born to such a person like Handagama. :angry:

my idea is.. Handagama want to show the reality in Sri Lanka..

and as we all know that FAthers marriying there own Duaghter and Mothers using there Sons.. and its quite natural and common thing in sri Lanka these days.. and Handagama want to show it from a Film.

and i watched that Thani Thatuwen Piyabanna and i really like it coz its a amazing story and all are the true ones.. like ther are Gay guys and girls acting as guys.. its a normail thing..

hey, I don't get it..what movie are u talkin about? if it's about Handagama's movies then here's what I have to say..

We're talkin about incest here rite.. haven't seen a single movie of Handagama but looks like he's got all the truth packed in his wrk..

dude it happens all over the world..and some peeps are really comfortable with the idea of a son sleepin wid his mother..I think it's right frm Handagama's part to let ppl know of the truth ..and yo it's fine for anyone else to argue against it. We still got the right to spk freely ey.. Some of us just can't dig it though..If someone thinks that these things doesn't happen in SL, well then they're wrong. Just bcoz most of us follow the buddhist pathway, doesn't mean there aren't perverts among us..but hell if they're ok with it why should we give a damn?

Handagama dun want to improve diz local cinema o some other thing. da only thing that he expect is to indicate Sinhalese comunity as Barbarians by hez movies and, and daz the concept going on the most number of peoples mind in some scandinavian o europian countries i guess, Hez earning much money from Embasyz n Some Tamil Businessmen after creating diz kind of shitz. Other thing is itz necessary to find out who are the financial supporters for make movies like diz. Just assume tommorow he will make a movie about a brothel house in a Bhudhist Temple, managing by the main Bhudhist monk. Hon Mervin Silva ! you did a good job !

I like Handagama's style of advertising.
He doesn't make his producer spend money on TV ads, Trailers or Posters.

He always tries to make his film go under some controversy and get free publicity.
That’s simply awesome... and easy to execute.... we have our excellent media and politicians.

Other than that a tagline of "A banned film Sri Lanka" can earn more money and awards around the world.

White men who host some film festivals in some unknown cities around the world want to see adultery, poverty, and terrarium in a film from Sri Lanka.

Hon Mervin Silva you did a good job, I guess Handagama owes you a cup of coffee... lol
