Keystroke - Function

Window navigation
ALT+TAB - Switch between active windows
ALT+SHIFT+TAB - Switch between active windows (in reverse)

Window management
ALT+F3 - Window operations menu
ALT+F4 - Close active window
ALT+CTRL+A - Active window that is requiring attention (usually a prompt of some sort)
ALT+CTRL+ESC - Activate “window killer” (allows you to kill a window without activating it)
ALT+F12 - Activate mouse mode (control mouse with cursor)

Desktop management
WIN - Open the start menu
CTRL+ALT+D - Toggle desktop display (hide/unhide all windows)
CTRL+ESC - Launch ProcessTable (to view running processes)
ALT+F2 - Run command dialog
ALT+F5 - Show window list
CTRL+ALT+L - Lock desktop
CTRL+ALT+INS - Switch user
CTRL+ALT+DEL - Log out
CTRL+ALT+DEL+SHIFT - Log out without confirmation

Generic application shortcuts
CTRL+C - Copy highlighted selection to clipboard
CTRL+V - Paste from clipboard
CTRL+X - Cut highlighted selection and place on clipboard
CTRL+P - Print
CTRL+Q - Quit
CTRL+S - Save or Save As
CTRL+Z - Undo

CTRL+N - New window
CTRL+SHIFT+N - New tab
CTRL+F - Find
F3 - Find next
SHIFT+F3 - Find previous
