Paris, 25 September, (Asiantribune.com): French Police arrested Ranjan, the second layer LTTE leader, who substituted for Parithi alias Nadarajah Mathienthiran, who was arrested on the April Fools Day and being held in custody.
After the arrest of Parithi in April, LTTE leadership in Vanni appointed Ranjan to take charge of the LTTE’s activities in France.
He is one of those arrested along with the Vennila gang members this morning in the suburb of Paris.
Though Ranjan was keeping a low profile, French police were monitoring the activities of the LTTE’s second layer activists.
