The author of this problem is Albert Einstein who said that 98% of the people in the world can't solve it..

Prove him wrong if you can!!!!

Question follows..

3. These 5 owners drink a certain beverage:
Beer, coffee, milk, tea and water,

smoke a certain brand of cigar:
Blue Master, Dunhill, Pall Mall, Prince and blend,

and keep a certain pet:
Cat, bird, dog, fish and horse.

Solved it.

Not that hard if you list all the info on an Excel sheet.

You can fill about 40% of cages with the info given. Then some logical thinking, you can solve it.

Hmmmm interesting 3 quarters down the way you get to a point where there are three answers and that's where I got stuck. Had to run through the whole thing on those individual paths. But I didn't write anything down... did the whole thing in the IQ test format. In the good ol' head. No wonder it took me so long

Yeah. I knew it from all along, that I needed at least a paper.
But easier to work on Excel. No erasing is needed. Just delete the cages :)

QUESTION IS: Who keeps fish as a pet?

Guys you'll have to get hints from hints to solve this problem.. once you solve half the rest is not difficult let me give you an example..

It says that:

7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.

which means we can get another hint that

The person who smokes Dunhill is not the one with the Horse as a pet

Or The person who has a Horse as pet does not live in the yellow house

So that's an example... you'll have to do a bit of cross thinking!!!!

Yeah it's not the easiest thing to solve let alone do it in minutes. Looks like Anusha is a mensa member
