What's your kernel version ?
from a command line run :

ok, try the following from the command line. The PC must already have an internet connection active to do this:
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TYPE THE FOLLOWING!!!

sudo echo " deb http://www.flashtux.org/debian unstable main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list

sudo apt-get update

after its done :

Code:

sudo apt-get install rp-pppoe
sudo apt-get install linux-atm
sudo apt-get install eciadsl-*
sudo apt-get install eciadsl-config-tk

this will ask to install dependencies. Install them all.

next :
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TYPE THE FOLLOWING!!!

Code:

sudo echo "blacklist dabusb" >> /etc/modprobe.d/01-blacklist.conf

Now reboot the PC.
After its booted up, get a terminal and run :

Code:

sudo eciadsl-config-tk

which will give the configuration creator.

Enter your connection settings and save it.

Now plug the modem in and wait for the LEDs to turn on.
After that, get a terminal and start the connection :

Code:

sudo eciadsl-start

That should get things going.
If it doesnt, then in the configuration settings ( eciadsl-config-tk ), select the proper .bin file and restart the connection.
