Shall we talk about Internet Frauds.

That will help all the members who read this post. And also it is an interesting topic.

So, pls update what you know about Internet Frauds.

One thing I know is that Nigerian people are experts in this.

    Ok we'll discuss about it.
    ____________________________________________________________________

One common method of fraud is that you get a mail saying that you have won XXXX $ amount of money and to confirm your wining asking for your details.

And if you reply to that e-mail with your phone number and other details, they'll call you.

And they pretend that there is a big procedure to release your money.

Likewise it goes for a week or two. Now you are dreaming for your millions.

Then they'll say that you have to pay legal & handling fees of $ 150-250 to them to get your cheque.

If you pay it or not, that'll be the end of story.

    ___________________________________________________________________

Likewise we'll discuss about those matters in this thread.

It's quite interesting & will improve your knowledge as well.

Another way is sending a web address by an e-mail, very similar to your bank's address.

They say the bank is doing maintenance in the server and to provide a better service you need to log on to the account through the link provided.

If you go to the link, you'll see exactly similar page like the bank's website. But it is not. When you enter your username and password the attacker obtains it and then sorry.com salli walata account eke thiyana...

Make sure you don't click on any link in an e-mail saying that it's from your bank.

Coz as a policy e-banking systems do not send e-mails asking verification. They just call you straightaway if there is a problem.

Same thing happens to google ad sense or sd words account holdersa as well.

Another one is work at home scams.

When you go to their site, they offer work at home jobs Ex: Online graphic desining jobs, Home-Based Liquidation business. etc.
When you choose one, you're promted to make a certain amount of payment to receive your '' Job order'' . they also offer few methods for payment, such as ''Internet safe pay method''
No matter what you chosse , t - most people fall for this internet safe pay method.
That 's the end. You will not recieve any job order.and you will never see your payed amount again.
