Final one for a long time. Simply exhausted.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Read, and try your best to understand.

    Especially the underlined sentences

For all the people in Elakiri who supports the war..... This is Extremely and exclusively for you !

Someone get "rapa" and "alaya" to read this.

    Different eyes tell different lies
Running blindly into their blind graves
    These guns can not save
    Scapegoating; our disguise

These mass graves tell the fable
    Opened by bended labels
The bird of revenge must fall dead on the ground
Sea of freshly burned ashes be parted
Shot down in the war it started

    Shame on you both
    This is not my justice!

The chicken and the egg; who made claims of superiority before
Who came first, it matters no more
For now they are both the last!
Join over the place where there bodies lay
    Side by side
    Blood now shared

    Shame on you both!
    This is not my justice!

    Different eyes tell different lies

To see the face under the mirror
Always opposite of what it seems
    Parasites of bitter dreams

    Underneath this carnage land
Where slain bodies float on poisoned lakes
Blood and bullets seep into the skin of fake

    Different eyes tell different lies

Up above the two the fight
Propaganda tells them they are right
    Down bellow hides only one

Motive- what horrible things can I have done?
My precious ego loves this ugly work

    To get on top
Climb up the bodies one by one
The fat ones fall the hardest
Smothered under fruits of good harvest
As we look up at the holy guild
Let us know them by what they have killed!

The trees of disease, grown in graveyard soil
Yell “Divide and disown’ there roots are still loyal
To the pilgrims who planted them; their fruits to fuel the war
But still no one remembers what they were fighting for!

They swallowed drugs of ideologies gone wrong
To place their acts in good hands
Then happily tarnish and ransack the land
And those who move away from the battle in gypsy caravans
Only hesitate to join because they are to weak to meet the demand

    Your inquisition is quite un-unique

    Hold on to your mind
    You’ll soon be forgotten
    Keep your army at home
Your originality will be desperately appreciated
Do this, I plead; end this everlasting war
Or every man must have his own blood on his door!

Ok, so for most people, this will be a bit hard to understand. So let me untie the knots a little so that it will be easy.

But, please remember that this is not a correct justification for this. READ AND UNDERSTAND THE POEM IN DEPTH if you really want the full meaning

    ________________________________________________________

    Different eyes tell different lies

Running blindly into their blind graves
    These guns can not save
    Scapegoating; our disguise

Different people see different things. along with that, they see different lies in different view points. BUT WE ARE ALL running blindly into our own graves. Blinded by our own ego's, stupidity and sheer dumbness.

No guns or weapons cannot stop or halt our own destruction, unless we open our own eyes and understand the reality. The scapegoat we used all this time = WAR is infact our own killer in disguise.

These mass graves tell the fable
    Opened by bended labels
The bird of revenge must fall dead on the ground
Sea of freshly burned ashes be parted
Shot down in the war it started

The mass graves of all our own boys and theirs, are the solidity icons of bended and twisted rational ideas.

REVENGE MUST BE STOPPED... an eye of an eye ...makes the whole world blind.

Make the first move to clear the ashes of burn down bodies and buildings.. be the first extend a hand.

    Shame on you both
    This is not my justice!

    exactly what it says

The chicken and the egg; who made claims of superiority before
Who came first, it matters no more
For now they are both the last!
Join over the place where there bodies lay
    Side by side
    Blood now shared

As I have repeatedly made my self clear in this forum.. IT'S NOT ABOUT who came first. Because we are both already here. So shut the FU_K up and let's start learning to live together.

But, you all were so dumb and blind, that you forgot....... you forgot that you are fighting against your own brother..... two brothers... stuck on the different sides of ideas.

Come all you stupid people. Witness how the blood flows from your brother. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW ? is this what you WANTED SEE? killing your own brother of the same mother land?

Come and stand where two bodies lay.. one Army, one LTTE... both brothers of the same mother...yet stuck in different sides.... but YOU my foe.. YOU the ideological blinded FOOL.. you are responcible for both of their deaths.. and the blood that flows... BLOOD IS SHARED.

To see the face under the mirror
Always opposite of what it seems
    Parasites of bitter dreams

You fools, you see everything the way you want to see. You twist facts, you twist figures.

You twist anything to suit your own agenda's and your own hypocrisy.

I call your PARASITES of a bitter dream. ..... a bitter dream of violence, gore and death you seems to lavish and thrive one....... the dream and the reality whre you would love to push OTHERS to the death....while you sit here in comfort.

Arm chair warriors.... screw you !

    Underneath this carnage land
Where slain bodies float on poisoned lakes
Blood and bullets seep into the skin of fake

I think you all can understand this verse through thick and thin of every word.

The recent pictures of bombing and the blood shed / agony of children, mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers...would be enough to remember you..... remember you all the Carnage of poisoned soild that we tred apone because of war mongering blind idiots.

Up above the two the fight
Propaganda tells them they are right
    Down bellow hides only one

Motive- what horrible things can I have done?
My precious ego loves this ugly work

THIS !!! .. this is what I was fighting for in the Forum all this time... and I brough home the idea

Propoganda.. and the personal EGO of idiots who supports and thrive on war..... the idiots who thrive on seeing the blood of your own brothers spilled across our mother land.

WHY ??? becuase we have an EGO... EGO that stops us from accepting... repenting and opening our eyes to the truth and the horror of reality.

    To get on top
Climb up the bodies one by one
The fat ones fall the hardest
Smothered under fruits of good harvest
As we look up at the holy guild
Let us know them by what they have killed!

    Politiains.......

just think about them... and the entire thing will be clear for you.

The trees of disease, grown in graveyard soil
Yell “Divide and disown’ there roots are still loyal
To the pilgrims who planted them; their fruits to fuel the war
But still no one remembers what they were fighting for!

The tree of "disease" ..........the disease of human ideology, arrogence and their sheer stupidity and grown out of the limits..and bearing fruits to the younger generation as well.

YOU STUPID MORONS... you spoil our younger generation as well. Atleast LET THEM see the truth and accept the reality.. and atleast let them correct it where we have gone wrong.

You ideological blinded BAFOONS, you offer fruits of POISON to the younger generation and blind them of the reality.. till even THEY FORGET.. "what are we all fighting for?"

They swallowed drugs of ideologies gone wrong
To place their acts in good hands
Then happily tarnish and ransack the land
And those who move away from the battle in gypsy caravans
Only hesitate to join because they are to weak to meet the demand

Let me offer an explanation for the first two lines.. then the rest will be self explanatory.

YOU are spoiled. you are rotten.. you are WRONG.

Blinded idiots. OPEN your god damn eyes and realise that what you believe is WRONG. and you help power hungry devils to rape and molest this country out of it's roots.

why?? because what you believe is wrong. IDIOT

    Hold on to your mind
    You’ll soon be forgotten
    Keep your army at home
Your originality will be desperately appreciated
Do this, I plead; end this everlasting war
Or every man must have his own blood on his door!

only the last last line need to be reviewd.
YOU FAIL... then all should share the blood which is spilled.....and all should sacrifice.....rather than sending innocents to WAR ..to kill their own brother on the other side... while you sit here raging war from your chair.

Awsome way to start a poem ban.. "
Different eyes tell different lies"... love this line above all else...so true...

We hav extremists here who is willing to belive everything the government says about the war is true (even agreeing with that media sanction thingy they are goung to bring) & I know another one from another site called system-X who believes everything the LTTE propaganda machine says is the truth..

Extremist view points of both ends...

Also I agree that in the end there will be no winners from this war..

BTW I hav expressed my views on this matter in earlier posts... I dont believe that LTTE will come to genuine talks until they believes that they cannot get Eelam from war (Winning the war)... If we are to get them to talks they hav to be Militarily weakened to a certain degree..

I support the war so far as that option will be available to us..then peacetalks & kind of a thing u talked about that got implemented in SA..

Yeah u gotta point........We should see this issue from the mid point....

Extreme views would not end the Problem for Good.......I think All should remember that this conflict/freedom struggle/terrorism should end for GOOD....
So we have to solve it not patch it up.....

I started reading your Poem..........Sounds really cool.......

Seems i would take some time to understand on my own....

Good job bro.........You have an amazing vocabulary..........I have learnt quite a bit from your posts.......Especially on this subject.......

Great.... It's an anti war poem. I couldn't understand the whole but the amount I got, I got deeply. I've read lot of these kind of poems in sinhala, Cos I'm not a regular English reader, this is new to me. Somehow You've done some huge work to pin point the meaning you ought to tell.

Thanks... by the way, If you can translate this. Please give us a Sinhala version.
