The tallest statue ever erected, that of St. Anne, will be erected at St. Anne’s church, at Weligampitiya, Ja–Ela, facing the Colombo – Negombo main road on July 16.
The statue will be brought to St. Anne’s, church – Ja-Ela from St. Anne’s – Talawila, in a colourful procession via Chilaw, Wennappuwa, Nattandiya, Kochchikade and Negombo on the 14th.
