I sometimes wonder what's the purpose of these things. I don't think people will start walking in the streets whering clothes like these - ever!
I believe in the future, people will where clothes that cover the body completely. This is not for a fashion or something, but the clothes will probably give additional benefits, like manual temperature controlling, safety features etc. that we only see in the Sci-Fi movies in the present.
