A branch of the Mahamevnawa Anagarika Asapuwa was officially opened at Udupila, Delgoda, on 2nd August 2008 followed by a full-day Dhamma programme conducted by Most Venerable Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero (Pinwath Loku Swaminwahanse).
Pinwath Loku Swaminwahanse discussed the first two(2) methods (out of sixteen) of understanding the Samma-Ditti, from the Samma-Ditti Sutta of Majjhima Nikaya.
Pinwath Swaminwahanse also revealed the gathering, the background for establishing Anagarika Asapu and explained the importance of 'discipline' in achieving the intended prime objective through Anagarika Asapuwa i.e. providing an oppurtunity for women to expedite their journey in comprehending the Caturàriya-Sacca in this Gauthama Buddha Sasana, itself.
